And the party continues.........Cookout at Pancho's Rancho The old homestead has been the location for many, many cookouts and parties - so it just seemed natural to continue the tradition. Pull out the grills, set up the tents and tables and let the show begin. In the art of Kung Fu, forms are used to honor special guest and show respect. With this in mind, Alicia McDaniel chose to perform two movements to capture the moments of this celebration. In honor of Mom and Dad's 50th Anniversary Celebration she performed the Open Hand Combat Form (using dragon decorated combat fans) and the Celestrial Dragon kata. And of course it would not be New Year's without a Homer Noodleman Show - we are still laughing. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. We met at the Hilton Garden Inn for breakfast, then boarded the bus for a St Johns River Cruise. Captain Ron navigated our boat thru the historical St Johns River and exposed our northern visitors to the beauty of old Florida flora and wildlife. Day 4 and all is calm.......thank you Mike and Dawnelle for cooking and organizing the farewell dinner. Do I need to mention that Mike is the "Rib King"! I personally think his grilled salmon is tops, but that is another story. Hope everyone had a much fun as we did - and thank you for making this such an awesome celebration. |
